ASSEMBLE AND DELIVERY SERVICE

1. General Situation

All bicycles of GIANT and LIV are semi-finished products, and generally require technicians to install parts (e.g. handlebars, pedals, seats, front and rear wheels, etc.). In addition to the service of installing parts, technicians will also make the inspections for bicycles, and make sure the safety of customers is our first priority. Therefore, we recommend that customers can choose to assemble in GIANT store, however, customers can also choose to assemble in designated store.

 

A) Bicycle and Frameset

• If select "Original Packaging (The bicycle is not assembled) + SF Express Delivery (General Area)" can be choose SF Express delivery service to your address (3 working days).

• If select "Assembly + Pick-up From Designated Stores", can be sent to dealer stores and self-pick up (GIANT store need 7 working days, and other designated store need 7 working days).

• If select "Assembly + Delivery Service", the delivery service requires an additional shipping fee of HK$300, which can be delivered to your address after assembly (7 working days, excluding door-to-door service).

Please note: The delivery scope of "Assembly + Delivery Service" is limited to the New Territories, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island (outlying island areas such as: Discovery Bay, Ngong Ping 360, Cheung Chau, Lantau Island, Mui Wo, Tai O, Peng Chau, Lamma Island, Ma Wan, Chek Lap Kok (including Hong Kong International Airport), Hong Kong Disneyland, in addition to the HK$300 shipping fee, an additional surcharge will be charged.)

 

B) Accessories

Customers who purchase over HK$600 can enjoy free delivery service.

 

Please note: We will charge an additional shipping fee of HK$48 (uniform area) if the purchase amount does not exceed the designated amount.

 

2. Delivery Time

After the order is generated, we will send an " Order Verification Notice" email. The customer must check all the information in detail (including: product information, recipient name, shipping address, phone number, Email). However, If the customer chooses to pick up from designated stores, please must provide the full name in Chinese and English of the recipient (must be the same as the information on the Hong Kong ID card/passport).

 

Please note: Customers must reply to the " Order Verification Notice " email before we will process the order. We will send the goods from the warehouse within 3 working days after the order is confirmed (excluding delivery time).

Once the order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, changed or refunded.

 

We will process orders from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), orders submitted after 3 pm will be processed the next day.

3. Delivery Service

Customers can choose SF Express, Calling Express or visit the designated store to pick up the goods.

 

Please note:

Original box bicycle, original box frameset and accessories: Customers can select "Original Packaging + SF Express Delivery", "Assembly + Pick-up From Designated Stores".

Assembled bicycle: Customers can select "Assembly + Pick-up From Designated Stores", "Assembly + Delivery Service".

A) SF Express Delivery Service

We will deliver the goods according to the delivery destination of the order. Customers must sign for sure.

If no one signs, the goods will be returned to the SF warehouse, and you will be contacted by phone to arrange the next delivery time again, or go to the SF warehouse to collect the goods in person.

 

Please note: The goods will be arrived at the SF warehouse within 1-2 working days after the first shipment.

B) Pick up from Designated Store

We will arrange the goods to the designated store. After the goods are delivered, we will contact you by phone.

C) Calling Express

If you choose "Assembly + Delivery Service", we will arrange the delivery to the designated destination..

We will contact you to confirm the delivery address and available time by phone before we arrange the delivery. Customers must sign for sure when receive the goods. However, if we cannot contact you, we will suspend the delivery service of the order, and the order will not resume operation until we can contact you.

Please note:

The delivery address must be the correct address in Hong Kong (Transfer station address is not accepted), otherwise the order will be cancelled, and a confirmation email from the system will be automatically generated to you for notification.

The customer must leave a contactable communication method (including: phone number, email), if we still cannot contact you within 14 working days, the order will be cancelled, and a confirmation email from the system will be automatically generated to you for notification.

         

 

4. Special Arrangements for the Severe Weather

 

The delivery service will be postponed when the gale signal is hoisted, the red or black rainstorm warning is in effect, or the weather conditions that we judge to be unsafe for transportation.

 

We will notify you to change the delivery date.

 

*For any dispute, the decision of Chung Yung Cycle Co. is final.

*The terms are limited to the GIANT online store and not applicable to the stores
